If You’re Still on the Fence—Here’s What You Need to Know

Since opening The Flyover to reader ownership, we’ve experienced exceptional growth—and it’s because of you, our readers, and our early investors.

Just look at what our community has accomplished in just a few months:
📈 Texas is closing in on 500,000 readers
🌴 Florida is up 32% since our crowdfunding began
🌵 Arizona has grown more than 30% this month
🌄 Colorado is up nearly 20% and now has over 100,000 readers
🏈 Ohio has nearly doubled, jumping from 28,000 to over 50,000 readers since October 1
🎧 The Flyover Podcast is approaching 400,000 monthly listeners

Across all Flyover editions, that’s 350,000 new readers added in the last month alone.

All of this growth—every milestone—was made possible by our investors.

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now is your moment. Don’t get left behind or let this opportunity pass.

How Do You Get a Return on Your Investment?

We believe in transparency. Like any investment, there’s risk—but The Flyover reached profitability after just two years, with 80% gross margins and 24% net income. That places us among the top 1% of media startups in America.

Here’s how your investment could create a real return:

  1. Sale: A larger media company or strategic partner could acquire The Flyover. If that day comes, we’ll only partner with those who share our values.
  2. Public Listing: We could one day go public, giving you the freedom to buy and sell your shares.
  3. Profit Distributions (Dividends): Because we’re already profitable, future dividends are a real possibility.

These are the same paths that have rewarded early investors in other successful startups—and they’re all possible because of the momentum you’ve helped build.

If you’ve been on the fence, now is the time to invest.

Join the movement that’s reshaping how Americans get their news.

Election Day is tomorrow, but more than 1.4 million Virginians have already cast ballots, according to the Virginia Public Access Project.

On the final weekend of the governor’s race, high-profile surrogates campaigned across Virginia.

In Norfolk, former President Barack Obama led a rally to boost Democrat Abigail Spanberger. “Vote for leaders who care about your freedoms and who will fight for your rights,” Obama exhorted the crowd of 7,000.

Governor Glenn Youngkin headlined a gathering of the Republican statewide candidates in Abingdon. “We have over 4,000 new jobs because of the great work that all of you have done,” he told the Get Out the Vote event.

Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears told the crowd, “We’ve had four glorious years where we’ve been creating jobs left and right,” and she vowed to maintain that momentum.

Article Icon 1Virginia Becoming a Drugmaking Hub

The Commonwealth will soon host the nation’s largest workforce development center for advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing. Plans for the center were developed through a collaboration among the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, and Merck.

The three drug makers have vowed to invest as much as $120 million to establish the Virginia Center for Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

State colleges and universities, including James Madison University and the University of Virginia, as well as members of the Virginia Community College System, will also contribute.

Virginia is again leading the way as the top state for talent, education, and innovation as a national leader in biopharmaceutical and life sciences advanced manufacturing,” Youngkin said. All three companies are currently expanding their manufacturing capabilities in Virginia.

Article Icon 1Child Poverty on the Rise

Virginia’s child poverty rate hit 12% last year, according to a report from the Casey Foundation. That’s slightly below the nationwide average of 13%.

The foundation estimated that about a quarter of a million children across the Commonwealth are currently living in poverty. The numbers are climbing after hitting a historic low in 2021 when the federal government temporarily expanded support programs.

Combined federal and state intervention policies reduced child poverty by eight percentage points in Virginia last year, according to the report.

If we took away some of these supportive services like SNAP, WIC, then the poverty rate would actually be 25%,” the Director of Research at Voices for Virginia’s Children said.

Unknown Number Calling? It’s Not Random

The BBC caught scam call center workers on hidden cameras as they laughed at the people they were tricking. One worker bragged about making $250K from victims. The disturbing truth? Scammers don’t pick phone numbers at random. They buy your data from brokers.

Once your data is out there, it’s not just calls. It’s phishing, impersonation, and identity theft. That’s why we recommend Incogni: They delete your info from the web, monitor and follow up automatically, and continue to erase data as new risks appear.
