Strawberry Shortcut Cake

2.25 c. flour

1.5 c. sugar

0.5 c. solid shortening

3 tsp. baking powder

0.5 tsp. salt

1 c. milk

3 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. mini marshmallows

2 c. fresh strawberries

1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello

Grease 9×13 pan.

Arrange marshmallows in a pan.

Combine strawberries and Jello. Let set.

Mix flour, sugar, shortening, baking powder, salt, milk, eggs, and vanilla.

Pour batter over marshmallows. Spoon Jello mixture over the batter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Serve warm.
