Question: Which abandoned mental institution in Virginia is widely regarded as having the highest paranormal activity on the East Coast?

Answer: St. Albans Sanatorium in Radford, once a boys’ school later converted into a hospital for the mentally ill, is now a favorite site for paranormal investigators. Spirits include former patients, staff members, and children. One aggressive former attendant is said to haunt the lower level and confront female visitors.
