Question: What dam created Lake Moomaw?

Answer: Gathright Dam. The man-made lake is in the Allegheny Highlands at the bottom of a canyon once known as Kincaid Gorge. The dam is two hours north of Roanoke and about an hour and a half west of Staunton.
