The Final Push to 1,000+

Ten days ago, we set out on a mission to reach 1,000 investors. Without you, we could not make it. But here’s the deal: we only have one day left.

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now is the moment to step in and be one of the final investors who help us cross this milestone. Together, we can finish strong.

You Have Questions. We Have Answers!

One of the top questions we get is: How do I get a return on my investment?

We believe in transparency. Like all investments, this carries risk—but here’s why The Flyover is different: we’re already profitable after just two years, with 80% gross margins and 24% net income. This puts The Flyover in the top 1% of media start-ups.

The three most common ways investors can realize returns are:

  1. A Sale: A larger media company or strategic partner could acquire The Flyover. If that day comes, we’d only partner with those who uphold our high standards. CNN or NPR need not apply.
  2. Public Listing: While we’re private today, the future could include listing on a stock exchange, giving owners and investors freedom to buy and sell their shares.
  3. Profit Distributions (Dividends): Because we’re profitable now, unlike most startups, dividends are a real possibility in the future.

To recap: 1. Sale. 2. Listing. 3. Distributions.

Your Last Chance

This is your opportunity to be part of something truly unique. Help us surpass our goal of 1,000 investors—we have one day left—and still qualify for up to 10% bonus shares.

It all comes down to this final day. Will you step up?

Gov. Glenn Youngkin said Senate Democrats are engaged in “unprecedented attempts to intimidate board members” after lawmakers blocked all of his most recent nominees to sit on the boards of visitors at state universities.

The Senate Privileges and Elections Committee rejected 14 Youngkin appointees: six to George Mason University, four to the University of Virginia, and four to the Virginia Military Institute. Democrats also asked the governor to stop making nominations until after November’s elections.

The same Senate committee blocked eight appointments in June, a move since upheld by a judge in Fairfax County. Attorney General Jason Miyares has appealed Judge Jonathan Frieden’s decision to the state Supreme Court.

Two of the four rejected UVA nominees had been named to a committee that is searching for the university’s 10th president.

Article Icon 1Troopers Seek Shooting Suspect

Virginia State Police located the truck thought to have been driven by Jason Allen Glidewell II. The 19-year-old is wanted in connection with a deadly shooting last week.

The vehicle was found parked at a hotel in Colonial Heights on Tuesday. Victim Hunter A. Bates once lived in that same city.

The shooting happened last Thursday on I-85 in Mecklenburg County, where state police found Bates and a female passenger in a car that had gone off the road. She was treated and released from an area hospital.

Police said Glidewell should be considered armed and dangerous.

Article Icon 1Suspected ‘Ninja Slushi Bandit’ Nabbed

The Fairfax County Police Department charged a woman with multiple thefts totaling more than $10,000.

Christine Woodson, 31, is suspected of taking more than a dozen Ninja Slushi appliances from several different Target locations in the county over the last year.

She was detained after an officer noticed a rental van driving suspiciously last month. Woodson, a passenger in that vehicle, had 16 active warrants out for her arrest.

A Ninja Slushi machine retails for around $350 at Target.
