The Flyover Investment Round Is Closing

And the final date will be announced shortly

We want The Flyover readers to hear this directly from us.

Our current investment round is closing this month. The final closing date will be announced in the next few days—and once it’s closed, this opportunity will be gone.

If you’ve ever considered becoming an owner of The Flyover, this is an important moment:

You no longer have months to decide. You have days.

If You’re on the Fence, Consider the Facts

This isn’t an idea-stage media startup. It’s a growing, profitable newsroom—built differently.

Over the past year:

  • Reader growth more than doubled

  • Revenue grew 73% year over year

  • Gross profit grew 88% year over year

  • The Flyover Podcast launched and scaled to nearly 1,000,000 monthly views/listens

  • More than 2,500 investors have already joined as owners

That growth didn’t come from clickbait, outrage, or celebrity journalists. It came from something rare in modern media: facts, restraint, and respect for readers.

This Is the Final Push

Before this round closes, we’re making one last invitation to The Flyover readersJoin a movement that is:

  • Rejecting clickbait sensationalism

  • Walking away from doom-scrolling and outrage cycles

  • Saying no to political agendas disguised as news

  • Refusing celebrity journalism that puts ego and agendas over truth

The Flyover is proving that a different model works—and that readers, not corporations, can own the newsroom.

A Personal Ask

If you believe America deserves a better way to consume the news…
If you value facts over spin and reporting over opinion…
If you’re ready to support a media company doing it the right way…

This is your opportunity to step forward. Only days remain.

Article Icon 1School Abortion Allegations Untrue

Superintendent Michelle Reid sent a letter to parents of students at Centreville High School to debunk allegations made by a teacher at the school that a social worker had facilitated student abortions without parental consent.

Reid wrote that an investigation conducted by the firm King & Spalding showed the claims were based on statements that were “misinterpreted, mistranslated, taken out of context, or in some cases knowingly fabricated.

In August, teacher Zenaida Perez said a 17-year-old student told her in 2022 that a school social worker helped her get an abortion and paid for it.

The claim has since been investigated by the county, the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Senate, and the Virginia State Police.

Article Icon 1Banfield Murder Trial Continues

The prosecution’s key witness, Juliana Peres Magalhães, spent two days on the stand in the double murder trial of Brendan Banfield.

She admitted to having an affair with the suspect and said the Fairfax County man came up with their scheme to lure a stranger to his home and frame that man for killing his wife.

Peres Magalhães pled guilty to manslaughter and agreed to testify against Brendan Banfield. She faced cross-examination on Wednesday.

With all due respect, you don’t remember a lot of details,” Banfield’s lawyer told Magalhães. “That’s what’s really concerning about this.” Peres Magalhães responded that blocking things out is a defense mechanism.

Banfield’s lawyer also introduced letters Magalhães wrote from prison. The trial is scheduled to resume today.

Article Icon 1Drought Watch Developing

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality placed most of the state under a drought watch advisory, while 22 counties are in the more serious category of drought warning.

The watch indicatesmuch-below normal streamflow, groundwater, and soil moisture levels throughout most of the Commonwealth.”

Due to a lack of rainfall, Appalachian Power Company has cautioned that water levels at Smith Mountain Lake are lower than normal, which may make it difficult for recreational users to access the lake.

The Virginia Drought Monitoring Task Force is scheduled to meet again on Tuesday to update its maps.

A “Roaring 20’s” Crash Signal is Back, But Much Worse

The Roaring 1920s defined an era of excess that led directly to the Great Depression. Halfway through the 2020s, the warning signs from 100 years ago are frighteningly similar to today.

Look at the parallels:

  • Valuations: In 1929, the Shiller P/E ratio (a key measure of stock valuation) peaked near 30. Today, it hovers close to 40—creating phantom wealth that exists only on paper.
  • Margin Debt: Money borrowed to risk on speculation in the markets has surged to a record $1.18 trillion. When markets dip, decades of contributions to a 401(k), IRA, or pension can be wiped out in minutes.
  • The Wealth Gap: In 1929, the top 0.1% controlled 25% of the nation’s wealth. Today, economists at Saez & Zucman confirm inequality has returned to similar extremes. Extreme inequality breaks an economy dependent on consumer spending.

AI trading algorithms at the major institutions analyze danger and can sell-off at any moment of weakness, which could send us straight into ‘The Greater Depression’.

Wise investors know this and are diversifying into hard assets to prepare for history repeating itself.
